**This week, students will receive an introduction to economics by reading Lawn Boy by Gary Paulsen. Each day we focus on one concept, such as the characteristics of market economies, before reading each section. To get those most out of that section, each concept relates to some topic addressed in that day's reading.

5/12: WB 7.1 due on Wed; Quiz on Lawn Boy + Intro to Economics on Thursday
**If you checked out a textbook this year,please bring it back. While we aren't "done" for the year, you will not need your book for any future at-home assignments. You can always take a book home overnight if you wish.
5/13: Finish WB 7.1; study for quiz (entrepreneurs)
5/14: Study for quiz; for 5 points extra credit, bring a cheapy (i.e. you're willing to part with) item to class tomorrow
